Katharina, alone and pregnant, has chosen to give birth to her first child in the seclusion of an old countryside cottage. But a mysterious man moves in next doors. As she wakes up one night, having gone into labour, she needs help getting to the hospital. But the only person in her proximity is the uncanny, obscure neighbor.
