Naina – Shoot for the Moon

2013, documentary 15′, P: WDR, D: Josias Tschanz

More than 200,000 Sikhs live in British Columbia. Naina and her family, who immigrated from India to Canada, are among them. Naina’s goal is to unite Indian and Canadian values and to inspire other young people for a multicultural life. She does a lot for this: at the local radio station she presents a show in her mother tongue Punjabi and together with her girlfriend she shoots a music video for a self-written song.
